WinDIP Enterprise is designed as an EDMS solution to be integrated with current host applications to make its function and data globally useful across an organisation. Gateway have written a number of their own plug-ins that are available "off the shelf" for different key purposes:
- Iris Exchequer - Embedded capture and retrieval functionality
- Microsoft Exchange - Email archiving
- Microsoft Office - Embedded capture functionality for Documents, Spreadsheets and Emails
- Pegasus Opera II - Embedded capture and retrieval functionality
WinDIP Enterprise's Plug-ins allow users to make full use of WinDIP without treating it as a separate, additional application and therefore without adding a significant training and usage overhead.
