Forms functionality extends the functionality of the core EDM process to enhance WinDIP as a complete Electronic Document Management System.
p-Forms allows paper forms templates to be quickly and easily defined within WinDIP using a wizard style interface. Forms can be defined from scanned or electronic templates to provide the maximum flexibility. Client end processing and interfaces maximise efficiency and minimise issues associated with automated forms capture.

e-Forms provides a complete electronic forms design, management, publishing and completion tool to extend paper forms based capture recognition. e-Forms templates can be secured within the WinDIP security structure and auto captured on completion with the click of a button on the form to pre-defined areas of the WinDIP Enterprise data structure with pre-defined indexes.
Key features of the WinDIP e-Forms functionality include:
- A fully graphical forms designer with controls such as paper size, number of pages, default font and alignment grid size
- A toolbox within the forms designer allowing labels, text boxes, option panels, tick boxes, signature boxes, pictures, drawing boxes, buttons and many other components to be added to a form
- Full font, style and colour controls
- Completion of e-Forms within the WinDIP Enterprise application, e-WinDIP, the WinDIP Enterprise Briefcase and any third party application or web interface
- Auto completion of e-Forms fields based on context and other fields
- Control over e-Form field content during completion
