Gateway Computing was formed in 1983 to provide turnkey solutions to the growing number of business IT users. During this time Gateway has grown with the industry and has adapted and re-structured to respond to the continuous advancements in the market and in customer requirements.
The organisation initially focused on the growing Business & Accounting Solutions market place, providing PC based solutions to local business, and then evolved into the Electronic Document Management Solutions market place, focusing at all times on providing a highly flexible and service orientated approach. Since the companies inception this approach has been underpinned by the ability and commitment to develop and enhance all we provide allowing Gateway to present solutions that fit and not just application software "out of the box".
In 1996 Gateway developed WinDIP, our Electronic Document Management Solution, which evolved into WinDIP Enterprise in 2004 and continues to evolve and grow with customer requirements. It is now one of the leading solutions in the health service market place supporting a wide variety of disparate organisations. In addition it provides the backbone for solutions deployed within the Accounting & Supply Chain Management software market place. Due to its highly scaleable and integrated design there are now over 350 installations in the UK, including over 50 in the NHS.
